|Look into my eyes... LOVE ME|
Well my preorder was cancelled by Best Buy, so #$%& this device in its machine ear anyway.
Back to Nerd Night: It started slowly with Gabriel and I enjoying some Battlefield 4. Everyone in the group picked up the Premium version during last week's sale (except for one member who decided it was better to pay full price a day after the sale ended).
The game has such tactical depth that it's difficult to get a handle on the game play after not having played the game for months. We bravely waded into a few matches regardless and I had a lot of fun even if my K/D ration was about .2. Want some highlights? How about my stabbing skills? Or my stealing of stabbing kills from others? You get both in this video:
But wait. There's more. Here's an incredibly short video demonstrating how to aim properly.
It was an EA kind of evening. We moved on to Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. It was Gabriel's first time, so we started a coop match of Garden Ops. We fell in with a couple of other decent players and we were able to finish the round with everyone surviving. After that came much confusion with how to work a pack of stickers. Why do they cost zombie coins? Why do they give you hats? Who knows.
Gabriel retired for the evening and I joined Paul and his son for some Destiny. He was kind enough to drop back to a mission that my low-level guy could handle. I'd post highlights, but it was Destiny, so there weren't any.
